Social

The Social Committee works closely with the Board to plan and coordinate a variety of social events for our tennis club. Committee members take the lead in organizing details such as potlucks, cookouts, and catered gatherings. They also handle logistics like ice, supplies and festive decorations for holiday socials. In addition, the committee collaborates with the Inter-Community Play Committee whenever our club hosts matches, helping to ensure events run smoothly and are enjoyable for everyone.

Court Maintenance

The Court Maintenance Committee helps keep our tennis facilities in top condition and promptly reports any maintenance concerns to the Board. Responsibilities include periodic inspections of court surfaces, windscreens, and nets; removing wind-blown debris like pine needles; and emptying court trash cans. Committee members also roll up windscreens and remove bench canopies in late July or early August as the risk of high-wind storms increases. Additional committee members are Jeff Oparka, David Horetsky, Bonnie Keating, Julie Baldwin.
